Rockford Park District is soliciting contractors to provide rough mowing grounds maintenance activities that include attention to height, rough terrain and frequency of cut within individual park site setting; as well as slope mowing of the dams at Aldeen, Levings Park and Page Dry Dam. The Rockford Park District honors prevailing wages. If applicable, the awarded Contractor, including subcontractors, is required to comply with all provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the payment of wages and fringe benefits as required by law, and the submission of certified payroll transcripts Rockford Park District welcomes the opportunity to assist guests with disabilities to enjoy ALL the facilities, programs, and services. The term of this contract shall be effective from the effective date of May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2022 plus three (3) one-year option periods beginning on the subsequent April 1st of each option year; provided that the Rockford Park District exercises the option by written notice signed by the Purchasing Manager.
