Site work and paving for a road / highway in Quincy, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will include the widening, resurfacing, and installation of paved shoulders on CR 65 (Attapulgus Highway) from SR 12 to the Georgia State Line. Also included will be drainage improvements, to accommodate widening the roadway, and signage and striping improvements. Pre-Bid Meeting Date: NA The completion date for this project will be 180 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day. The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid submittal. After the deadline, the bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders. EEO/AA
