As of August 18, 2021, a master planner has been awarded. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: McAllen Public Utility is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ's) from Consulting Engineering Firms experienced in water, wastewater and/or reclaimed water utility Master Planning. The SOQ's will demonstrate experience with utility design, corridor analysis, master planning, water modeling, and cost estimating. The SOQ's will be evaluated and ranked in accordance with criteria established in RFQ Solicitation. Project A: Water and Wastewater Systems Master Planning Project Project B: Reclaimed Water Master Plan Project. Potential Respondents are asked to post their questions electronically. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/20/2020 12:00 AM During execution of Contracts, the successful Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance made to the City of McAllen, P.O. Box 220, McAllen, TX 78505-0220, (1300 Houston, McAllen, Texas 78501) and should reference the project number and project Name. The prime contractor shall ensure that any and all subcontractors and/or lower-tier subcontractors comply with the insurance requirements as depicted herein. Such coverage(s) shall be acquired and maintained for the duration of the contract period. The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, and to accept the proposal considered the best and most advantageous to the City, and to hold the responses for a period of one-hundred twenty (120) days without taking action.
