Project Description - The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project. Major work components include construction of slurry seal, microsurfacing, asphalt concrete coldmill and overlay, reconstruction of localized asphalt repairs, install traffic striping and all related work as per plans and specifications. Bidders Guarantee: Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check or a cashier's check or bidder's bond made payable to the City of West Covina for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total contract price. Contractor License: In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, City of West Covina has determined that the contractor shall possess a possess an "A" valid California Contractor's License. Failure to possess such license may render the bid as non-responsive and bar the award of the contract to that non-responsive Bidder. The successful Contractor and subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City of West Covina.
