Toronto Water's state of good repair replacement of approximately 35 to 50 km of watermains and over 3,000 substandard water services each year. The Standalone Watermain Replacement Program is coordinated with Transportation Services such that permanent restoration of the watermain related excavations will also incorporate repairs of curbs, sidewalks, utility cuts, paving and traffic signal works. This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the City of Toronto to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the construction of watermains across the City of Toronto, including all site restorations, clean up, and rectification of all known deficiencies for a period of two (2) years. The Work locations will not include the Downtown core and will be limited as much as possible to local residential roads.
