Site work and paving for a civil project in Whitehall, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The work site is located on NYS Route 22 in the Village of Whitehall and the Town of Dresden, Washington County, New York. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including but not necessarily limited to the following: Rehabilitation of approximately 700 feet of the existing 14-inch cast iron water main located on the South Bay Bridge (NYS Route 22) by means of pipe lining. Installation of approximately 725 feet of 12-inch bypass piping. Site restoration, including asphalt pavement replacement, topsoil, and seeding. Erosion and sediment control of the project site during construction. Work zone traffic control of the project site, specifically NYS Route 22. Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the Village Office, 57 Skenesborough Drive, Suite 2, Whitehall, New York 12887. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a unit price bid as described in the Instructions To Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids. This project is wholly or partially funded through a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded to the Village of Whitehall and administered by the NYS Office of Community Renewal.
