An architect has been selected. As of March 17, 2022 this project has been delayed and now general contractor bidding is not expected to commence before early fourth quarter 2022. Stony Brook University is seeking an architectural design consultant to assemble a team to provide design, bid documents and construction administration services for various tenant buildouts of vacated suites in the Administration Building (Admin. Bldg.), and the Melville Library (Library). The project results from the move out of approximately 15,280 square feet from the Admin Bldg. and approximately 13,347 square feet from the Library into the newly renovated Stony Brook Union. Interested parties with experience in academic and administrative office design should submit their credentials for the project. Interested firms must be able to demonstrate successful experience in providing such service of equal or greater magnitude in a facility of similar size and scope.
