Renovation of a residential development in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Per addendum 1, The bid opening on the Saugus Water Meter Replacement project, IFB #14-20, on April 9, 2020, at 11:30 am will take place outdoors on the front door portico of Town Hall. All attendees shall maintain 6-foot social distancing separation. Bid packages can be hand delivered and left outside of Town Hall or sent to Town Hall by an Express Delivery Service (e.g. Fed-X, UPS). Town Hall is closed to the general public, but people are working inside who can collect delivered packages. This has caused some difficulties for Express Delivery Services, especially if signature is requested. If bid packages are to be left outside of Town Hall or arrive by an Express service, call the purchasing agent Bonnie Tanner at 781-231-4125 to pick up the bid package and/or to confirm its arrival. She is at work in Town Hall. Best advice is not to wait till last minute. The work of meter replacement and testing program includes: removal, replacement and testing of approximately 100 residential and 17 large, commercial Town-furnished water meters. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
