Demolition, site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Nashville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The Project generally consists of a one-story addition to the existing facility which is approximately 16,950 s.f. in size. Construction includes a pre-engineered metal building frame system; masonry construction; slab on grade; standing-seam metal roofing system; manufactured steel detention cells; electric traction machine-room-less elevator; new gas-fired packaged rooftop HVAC system; wetsprinkler fire protection system; Video Surveillance System; and Door Access Control System. The project also consists of an interior renovation to the existing facility which is approximately 40,100 s.f. in size, with approximately 12,125 s.f. of area to be renovated. Construction is anticipated to begin by September 2021.
