Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Minooka, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project generally includes expansion of the existing parking lot, a new trailer parking area, relocation of Preserve entrance drive, a new accessible floating dock system with gangway, new pedestrian pathways, a welcome plaza and associated amenities. There is no pre-bid meeting for this project. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by the proper bid security. The Forest Preserve District of Will County reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts or combinations thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids. The bid submitted shall include a certified check, bank draft, cashiers check, bid bond or an acceptable irrevocable letter of credit payable to the Forest Preserve District of Will County for not less than 10% of total Bid amount. All such Bid Security must be drawn on a bank authorized to do business in Illinois or provided by a bonding company authorized and licensed to do business in Illinois, as applicable, and must be maintained until execution of the Contract. Bids submitted without Bid Security will not be considered. The Bid Security will be returned to the successful Bidder upon execution of the Contract. Bid securities will be returned to unsuccessful Bidders upon execution of the Contract by the successful Bidder. Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening.
