Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a day care center; for the demolition of a day care center; for the renovation of a day care center; and for site work for a day care center.
As of October 19, 2022, construction is complete and the buildings are occupied. Pre Bid Meeting has been cancelled Work includes additions and renovations to the existing Winding Ridge Elementary School and Winding Ridge Early Learning Center The project will be constructed under the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) delivery method for public work. Powers and Sons will contract with multiple subcontractors for the Bid items listed below, with bids received on a lump sum basis for each bid item. Each proposal shall include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the Construction Drawings, Project Schedule and Project Manual. The Owner will receive sealed Bids for the following Bid Items of work: Contract No. 3 Masonry Contract No. 5 Storefront Contract No. 7 Painting A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount may be required of the successful bidder prior to execution of Contracts. Bidders will provide an alternate cost for these bonds on the bid form. Time is of the essence and Bids shall be based upon performing the Work in full and strict accordance with the Project Schedule and Phasing Plan. Each entity submitting a Bid indicates it can and will have its own workers, Subcontractors, materials and equipment available to keep its Work on or ahead of the Preliminary Construction Schedule and Phasing Plan. Powers and Sons reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts
