Notice of Call for Bids is hereby given by the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Abandoned Mine Land Division (AML), Cheyenne, Wyoming, for a general contract that will mitigate hazards and environmental degradation associated with underground coal mining. The work site is 3 miles Northeast of the city of Rock Springs, WY, and designated as AML Project 17.6B-BRS-3D, Rock Springs, Rock Springs No. 7&9 Mine Pipeline Drilling and Grouting Project. This project is funded in whole or in part with a grant from the Department of Interior, CFDA 15.252 or the U.S. Department of Interior, CFDA 15.236. The work on this project is anticipated to begin in June 1, 2020. The estimated cost of the Work is: $6.0 - $7.5 million Each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Bid Bond may be in the form of an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000, may be a scanned and uploaded copy of an original Bid Bond certificate, or may be submitted in the form of an original paper document. Acceptable paper originals include a cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), in the form of an original bid bond, (copy, fax, email, or upload of checks will not be accepted). A Bid Bond is retained ONLY if the bidder should be awarded the contract, and will be retained until a 100% Performance and Payment Bond is provided.
