As of June 18, 2020, an apparent low bidder has been confirmed. Bid results have been uploaded. MBE / WBE : 26% Contract 1A generally consists of the replacement of 22,500 lineal-feet of 6-inch to 12-inch water main, including fittings, valving, hydrants, service connections, and reconnection to existing distribution piping to remain in service. The work includes all associated appurtenances, earthwork, restoration along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. Contract 1B generally consists of the construction of a new 650,000-gallon glass-lined, bolted steel water storage tank including a precast concrete control valve vault, tank mixer, and SCADA equipment. The work includes all clearing, earthwork, foundation construction, utility service connections, systems integration, and restoration required to connect the tank to the Village distribution system along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. Contract 1C generally consists of the construction of a new water treatment facility including grading, stormwater management infrastructure installation, erection of a panelized precast concrete building, installation of a skid-mounted filter system and chemical feed equipment, connections to the existing Village well and chlorine contact piping. The work includes all associated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems required to energize and operate the new water treatment equipment and other appurtenances associated with the water treatment facility along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings.
