Allen County - CE Services for Monroeville Road Bridge #277 over the Hoffman Drain in Fort Wayne District This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered. Allen County is seeking a consultant to provide construction engineering and inspection services necessary for the removal of an existing concrete box beam bridge and construction of a new spread concrete box beam replacement bridge, along with upgrades to the bridge rail and approach guardrail to meet current standards. It is anticipated the roadway profile will increase up to 2 feet to meet appropriate geometric and hydraulic requirements as specified by the Indiana Design Manual. Utility relocation may be required due to the presence of overhead utility poles, located approximately 30-feet off the centerline of the roadway both north and south of the bridge.
