Saving Project...

Site work for a civil project in Clive, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Work shall include the construction of a new Type “SL” concrete girder bridge on a steel substructure over the Blindman River, located 12 km southeast of Rimbey. The road is being realigned and the bridge is being relocated. The existing bridge is located within SE 25 41 2 W5M and the new bridge will be located within NE 24-41-2-W5M. The Contractor shall construct the three span (14 m – 14 m – 14 m) bridge and new roadway as per the Drawings and applicable sections of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The new bridge will be installed on square to the new local road, centered at Station 10+166.500 with an 8.94 m clear roadway width. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Demolition and disposal of existing bridge structure Site isolation, turbidity monitoring and fish capture and release Structural excavation Supply, drill rig setup and install steel H-piles and pipe piles Supply and place pile concrete Abutment and pier construction including small bridge plaques Supply, deliver and install precast concrete girders Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Roadway work Supply and install bridgerail and guardrail including delineator guide posts Permanent environmental protection devices
