Champaign Community Unit School District #4, as Owner of this Project, is receiving sealed bids from qualified trade contractors for Champaign Central and Centennial High School Signage. - Central High School, 610 W University Ave., Champaign, IL 61801 - Centennial High School, 913 Crescent Drive, Champaign, IL 61801 Project consists of replacement of existing and new interior and exterior signage at Champaign Central High School and Champaign Centennial High School. All communications pertaining to bidding should be submitted by email to Mark Roessler, roesslma@u4sd.org. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%), of the base bid is required from all bidders. Guaranty bonds in the form of a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%), of the bid will be required from the awarded bidder. The work will be done in compliance with the Contract Documents. It is the intent of Champaign Community School District Unit #4 to utilize Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) in the construction of the school facilities in the District. In this regard, the District encourages minority and female participation as Prime Contractors, as well as for Prime Contractors to utilize available resources to identify such businesses, and recruit them to work as Subcontractors and suppliers on the Project. The District's target goal is 12% MBE and 8% WBE participation.
