2020 Bond - $300 Million - Guilford County Schools Rebuilding Sternberger Elementary School. The school district has considered hold off on rebuilding Sternberger Elementary School until after Kiser Middle School renovation is completed. Estimated budget: $3,818,849 More exact scope details will be revealed at a later date. As of October 20, 2021, the Guilford County Board of Education is meeting to vote for an additional bond referendum on the project, that would then be included on a March 2022 ballot. Bidding for designer, contractor, and a timeline for construction start date has not been determined. Also, $300 million dollars has been allocated to the Guilford County Schools, but specific project costs have not been released. As of July 19, 2022, a construction start is not yet know.
