Harrisburg Area Community College seeks bids from qualified Single Prime Contract Bidders to construct the above named project. The project is located at 735 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA. Harrisburg Area Community College is committed to providing opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises (WBE). Harrisburg Area Community College encourages MBE and WBE firms to submit a Proposal for the Work and all bidders to proactively solicit MBE and WBE firms in the bidding and subcontracting process. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. A Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The referenced project is subject to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates. The work will be performed under a Single Prime Contract and consists of the renovation to certain areas of HACC's Lebanon Campus 3rd Floor. Work consists of selective demolition of existing interior non-load bearing partitions and construction of new metal stud and gypsum board partitions to create office, leaning and conference spaces. Finishes, including acoustic ceiling tile and carpet, will be restored and existing spaces will be painted.
