**As of May 21, 2020. Project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been established. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Owner. Representatives from the Owner's and the Architect's office will be present to answer questions regarding bidding procedures and project requirements. F. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Owner. Decisions of the Owner will be final. G. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. H. Minority and Women Owned Businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Bidders will not be allowed to purchase or provide partial deposits in order to receive partial sets of plans and/or specifications - only full sets of bidding documents will be provided. J. All contractor questions regarding any matter concerning this Invitation to Bid must be submitted in writing to Mr. Brian Essig, Demonica Kemper Architects.
