Renovation of a water / sewer project in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Questions submittal deadline extended to 3:00 p.m., April 6, 2022 Sand Creek Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Rehabilitation and Improvements Project involves replacing equipment that has reached end of useful life and providing backup power to the facility. The purpose of this project is to replace the secondary clarifier mechanical components that are at end of useful life, to replace the blower system that has reached end of its useful life and needs to be modified to improve process control and operational flexibility, and to provide adequate backup power supply to biological processes by repurposing an existing City owned generator. This project will also addresses high groundwater issues on site in order to allow for regular maintenance and repairs to be performed on the secondary clarifiers.
