The objective of this project is to address the need for improved recreational facilities at Snye Point Park (Snye Point east of Hardin Street) by upgrading the existing infrastructure and adding new amenities. The project involves collaboration between the RMWB and external contractors, requiring specialized expertise in construction and environmental management. Scope Inclusions: Demolitions, removals, and salvage Earthworks, site grading and fundamental drainage improvements Site servicing; storm (including flood proofing measures for deep utilities and in-field subsurface drainage systems), electrical (including lighting) and communications. Concrete works including pathways and walkways, slabs, decorative concrete, concrete walls, and benches. Road and asphalt work including multi-use trails and pathways and parking lot relocations and upgrades. General landscaping includes fine grading, topsoil, sodding, seeding, planting, irrigation system. Installing new playground equipment and park amenities such as celebration circles and gathering nodes. Site furniture and placemaking features including benches, bike racks, trash receptacles, tables, Revitalize Snye Point Park with improved infrastructure and amenities. Ensure the park meets current environmental and safety standards. Enhance accessibility and usability of all visitors by creating pedestrian pathways and vehicular traffic accommodation infrastructure.
