The Work includes 1,600 tons of asphalt; 4,900 square yards of pulverizing asphalt; 10,200 square feet of concrete flatwork; 3,600 linear feet of curb and gutter; 5,200 tons of base aggregate; 1,400 cubic yards of EBS and backfill; 20,000 cubic yards of embankment fill; 2,000 linear feet of storm sewer; 2,100 linear feet of sanitary sewer; 2,000 linear feet of water main; 800 linear feet of water services; 150 linear feet of sanitary laterals; clearing and grubbing; tree removal; site restoration; and miscellaneous erosion control, pavement markings and traffic control items. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of the Bidders maximum Bid price. The City of Lake Mills reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
