Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of December 14, 2022, this project is in design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in 2024. A firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project involves the preparation of traffic analysis, preliminary engineering documents, and detailed design plans for improvements to Hamilton Road which is anticipated to include reconstruction and widening of the pavement to two through lanes in each direction plus turn lanes where necessary, installation of new curb, sidewalks, shared use path, storm sewer, street lighting, street trees, and traffic signals along Hamilton Road from the SR161 interchange to Central College Road. Improvements also include modifications to the eastern interchange ramps at SR161, capacity improvements to Hamilton Road through the interchange, and installation of pedestrian and bicycle facilities south to the northern E. Dublin-Granville Road intersection. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
