Earthwork/grading, underdrain installation, preparation of existing surface for overlay, PCC overlay, pavement markings, erosion control, seeding/sodding/mulching, lighting adjustments (salvage reinstallation), lighting installation, counterpoise wire installation. Location / Site Directions:16041 HWY 65, Iowa Falls, IA 50126-8443. Approx. 2.25 miles south of the City of Iowa Falls; approx. 1.5 miles north of HWY 65/HWY 20 Junction. Airport entrance road is located on the west side of HWY 65. Proposals will be opened and tabulated by the Engineer shortly thereafter for consideration by the City Council at their meeting at 6:30 PM on the 12th day of May, 2020. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The owner has established a contract goal of 1.70% percent participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by qualified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet the established goal Goals for minority participation for each trade: 0.00% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9%
