The City of Bend invites Sealed Bids for construction of the Drake Pump Station. The project consists of approximately 95 feet of 10 and 12 inch gravity sewer, pre-cast concrete manholes, 80 feet of 6 inch forcemain, 300 feet of 6 and 8 inch water main replacement, new submersible raw sewage pump station, modification to existing buried vault, demolition of existing pump station and appurtenances, temporary traffic control, surface restoration with both hot mix asphalt concrete paving and concrete. Work includes incorporating certain Owner furnished products including pumps, instrumentation, fiberglass wet well sump, and control panel. The work includes tie-ins to existing sewer lines, and functional and performance testing of the complete pump station. The project is funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, administered through Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 prevailing wage laws and the Federal Davis-Bacon Act and the higher of the two prevailing wages will be required to be paid. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division, and forms may be obtained online. New applications for the City of Bend prequalification must be received at least five days before the bid deadline.
