Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Durham, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
As of July 13, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase and is on hold. An architect has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Professional Services including Architecture Services, Interior Design, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering Through this request for qualification (RFQ), notice is hereby given that the City of Durham (City), North Carolina, General Services Department, is seeking a consultant with experience and expertise delivering services and projects for entertainment venues similar to the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC), or similar representative work to provide design and engineering services for the Durham Performing Arts Center Backstage Renovation project. The City is not responsible for providing updated information/changes to firms not known by the City as holding a copy of this RFQ. Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing prior to April 20, 2020 by 3 p.m. Questions received after this date may not receive response. Questions should be directed to Trish Creta. This RFQ does not obligate the City to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a response. Furthermore, the RFQ does not obligate the City to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
