All inquiries concerning this RFP are directed to Netty Orellana, FINcontracts@kenner.la.us The City of Kenner seeks a professional planning consultant with experience in retail revitalization to produce two plans: the Rivertown Revitalization Plan and the Esplanade Mall Redevelopment Plan. Both plans are intended to present a vision for economic vitality in each study area, and strategies - including step by step actions, to attract private investment in retail operations, housing development, and all other business services that will support realization of the vision. The primary goals include improving the quality of life in the study areas, and increasing retail sales tax revenues to support the improvement of services provided by the City of Kenner to its residents, businesses and property owners. While it is customary for a planning RFP to outline the scope of work in detail, Kenner is seeking the best approach to revitalization and redevelopment of the study areas from Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding has been awarded to the City of Kenner to produce these plans. The chosen proposer will be required to produce the plans in accordance with any applicable CDBG-DR requirements. Proposers shall present two separate sub-proposals, one for each plan individually. Proposer is solely responsible for the timely delivery of its proposal. Issuance of this RFP is not a commitment by Kenner to award a contract. Kenner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFP.
