**As of July 15, 2022, project is pulled might rebid by next year** The Project consists of demolition of a portion of existing facilities, construction of a new wet well, installation of 3 new submersible wastewater pumps, with associated valves, piping, and a flowmeter with associated vaults, replacement of the existing motor control center, backup generator, and other electrical improvements, replacement of gravity wastewater piping and structures, a new perimeter cement masonry unit wall with two access gates, improvements to the electrical and controls building including a new roof, asphalt paving of the site, drainage infrastructure, and other various improvements. The contractor is required to keep the existing facilities operational until the new facilities are commissioned, and flow rerouting and/or bypass pumping will be required. The project is defined as "Public Works" pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 through 1743. In accordance with California Labor Code Article 1725.5, Contractor and all subcontractors are required to be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in order to bid or be listed on a bid and/or work on a public works project. Additionally, prevailing wage and other related requirements apply. The opinion of probable construction cost for the project is approximately $3,500,000 to $4,250,000.
