The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting Letters of Interest from companies interested in providing Design-Build services for the FARM Bridge Program in the Northeast and Northwest Districts. The projects primary purpose is to replace up to 41 deficient bridges across these 2 districts. These bridges are located on low-volume routes and are: Weight-restricted In poor condition On timber pile One-lane but carry two-way traffic One Design-Build team will be selected to design and construct the project. MoDOT will use a Best Value selection process to evaluate the ability of the Design-Build proposers to meet or exceed the following project goals: Safely deliver the project within the program budget of $21.98 million on or before October 31, 2023 Use innovation to maximize the number of locations to be addressed Provide quality long-lasting structures Minimize public inconvenience through increased construction speed and flexibility in scheduling A virtual information presentation is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, 2020.
