Paving for a road / highway in Waukee, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.
Plans call for road extension. The general nature of the work is as follows: The project site is located along NW Douglas Parkway, from NW 10th Street (Co Rd. R22)west to NW Stratford Drive, past the site of the new 8/9 Middle School, in Waukee, IA. Project includes the grading and paving of approximately 2,550 LF of 2-lane 9" PCC pavement and associated turns lanes. Utility construction includes approximately 84 LF of 6" sanitary sewer; 2,800 LF of 12" water main; and 2,600 LF of storm sewer. Also includes pavement markings, signage, sub-drainage, seeding and erosion control. Lump Sum Bids will be considered by the Owner at a public meeting to be held at Waukee School Administration Building, 560 SE University Avenue at 6:00PM, Central Time, on April 12, 2021 or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. The site will be available starting April 13, 2021 for commencement of work, and must be substantially completed on Sept 3rd, 2021. Final completion shall be by October 1 st, 2021. A small portion of the work including paving, sanitary, water and storm sewer must be completed and ready for traffic by June 11th, 2021.
