The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) has established a contracting opportunity for professional services to assist with the upgrade and modernization of elevators, escalators, canopies, and various other aspects of vertical transportation throughout the LACMTA transit system on an as needed basis. As the need for services arise, LACMTA at its sole determination, will issue Task Orders. This project is detailed in the Scope of Services, Exhibit A. The resultant contract, if awarded, will be locally funded and is subject to fiscal year funding. Prevailing Wage rules will apply to this contract. All Services provided under the resulting contract ("Contract") shall be completed by no later than ten years after contract effective date. This Contract includes a base performance period of six (6) years, and two (2) two-year optional performance periods which LACMTA may exercise at its sole determination. The Contract award will be made to the Proposer whose Proposal meets the requirements of the RFP and is most advantageous to LACMTA based upon the Proposal Evaluation Criteria found in Exhibit 3. LACMTA reserves its rights, including, but not limited to, those identified in the Instructions to Proposers, LACMTA RIGHTS, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective Proposals received.
