Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Bradenton, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a fire / police facility.
The work is generally described as furnishing all labor, materials, appurtenances, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals and performing all work necessary construct a new approximately 10,000 ft2 block fire station with stucco finish, standing seam metal roof, and all associated site work. The work incudes demolition of an existing metal building. All work shall be completed in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. To ensure that Bidders receive all addenda and\or clarifications to the Bidding Documents in a timely manner, it is mandatory that all bidders obtain at least one set of Bidding Documents from the Owner to be eligible to bid on this project. Contact Ralph Ward, Purchasing Manager (ralph.ward@cityofbradenton.com) for further details to obtain a set of Bidding Documents. Qualified firms or individuals desiring to provide construction services to the City of Bradenton should submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of their submittal along with a digital copy on CD ROM or Flash Drive in a sealed opaque envelope or box, and reference Fire Department Station #3, and the words Bid Documents must be clearly indicated on the outside of envelope or box. Failure to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference will result in disqualification of prospective bidders. Only prospective bidders on the City plan holders list may submit a bid. Bidders may contact in writing at, or by e-mail directed to Ralph Ward, Purchasing Manager (ralph.ward@cityofbradenton.com) for questions, clarifications, and interpretations regarding the Bid Documents. Requests for information can be submitted in writing until seven (7) days before the scheduled date of the bid opening.
