Clarification Deadline: 5/1/2020 5:00 PM Upper Macungie Township will receive sealed bids electronically for the Rabenold Pump Station Improvements, Sewage Pump Replacement project. The Work will involve setting up and maintaining auxiliary pumps, removal of the existing pumps and control cabinets, and installation of the new pumps, control cabinets and appurtenances including electrical construction. Bids results will be made available electronically after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Upper Macungie Township in anamount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Upper Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. To all potential Bidders: Re: Rabenold Pump Station/ Pump Replacement Project. Upper Macungie Township will provide all bidders the opportunity to access, for inspection, the pump station site. Sits visits will be made by appointment only. The pump station will be open for inspection appointments between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, 2020 for all bidders. The site visit is not a mandatory requirement for bidding the project.
