Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Pollok, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

**As of July 21, 2020, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Health and Human Services Commission ("Owner"), for and on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division ("HSCS"), is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("Proposals") for selection of a General Contractor ("Contractor") to provide general construction and construction administration services to the Owner for Project No. 18-120 LFL, Bathroom Renovations Lufkin State Supported Living Center (the "Project"), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Solicitation. This Solicitation is being issued to select a Contractor for the Project as provided by Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter D. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Base Proposal: Renovations at buildings 557 and 559 for Homes 57A, 57B, 59A, and 59B (referred to as Woodland Crossing), and building 561 for Homes 61A, and 61B (referred to as Castle Pines) for a total of six (6) multi-occupant toilet bathing facilities. Each bathing facility is approximately 675 SF. Alternate #1: Renovation at building 563 for Homes 63A and 63B (referred to as Castle Pines) for a total of two (2) multi-occupant toilet bathing facilities. Each bathing facility if approximately 675 SF. Submit a security bond in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or original bid bond payable to the Health and Human Services Commission, in an amount not less than 5% of the largest possible total proposed cost, including consideration of alternates, to be held by the Owner's representative in accordance with Section 6 of Exhibit F. No other form of security will be accepted. The Owner may evaluate the Proposals based on the anticipated completion of all or any portion of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to divide the Project into multiple parts, to reject any and all Proposals and re-solicit for new Proposals, or to reject any and all Proposals and temporarily or permanently abandon the Project.
