The project is briefly described as follows: Recapitulation of Quantities Traffic Signal* 1 L.S. Video Detection System 1 L.S. Flashing Beacon System 1 L.S. Site Clearing and Restoration 1 L.S. Sidewalk Const. 4" 7.4 S.Y. Remove and Replace Combined Concrete Curb & Gutter 115 L.F. Seeding and Erosion Control 1 L.S. Wheelchair Ramp 4 EA. Pavement Marking 1 L.S. Traffic Control 1 L.S. Transportation of Salvageable Materials 1 L.S. Mobilization 1 L.S. The City of Derby shall purchase and provide new traffic signal poles and mast arms. The contractor shall install new poles. All work for new pole installation, coordination, and delivery to site (if required) shall be completed by the contractor and be subsidiary to the bid item "Traffic Signal." Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond is acceptable to the City in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. Checks are to be made payable to the City of Derby and drawn on a solvent Kansas Bank or Trust Company. These checks or bonds are to be retained by the City Clerk until the contract for the project shall have been awarded.
