Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Daytona Beach, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A firm timeline for the award has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Award of Contract Subject to the Purchasing Code of the City of Daytona Beach. This Project is Funded With Federal Funds; Therefore Local Preference is Not Applicable to This Solicitation Construction Engineering Inspection Services for the Derbyshire Sidewalks Phase Ii Project to Include Overseeing the Construction Activities of the Contractor Performing the Construction Work Described in the Construction Plans. The Project Involves Construction of 6' Wide Concrete Sidewalk to Fill Gaps in the Pedestrian System on the North, South, and East Side of the Derbyshire Regional Park in Daytona Beach. All Concrete Sidewalk Shall Be 4" Thick Except for Driveway and Other Turnout Locations, Those Locations Should Have 6" Thick Concrete Sidewalk. The Total Project Length is Approximately 9,192 Lf. The Proposed Sidewalk Locations Are the Following: 1. 4th Street From Lewis Dr. To Derbyshire Rd. (South Side) 499 Lf, .09 Miles 2. 5th Street From Lewis Dr. To Derbyshire Rd. (South Side) 352 Lf, .07 Miles 3. 6 Th Street From Derbyshire Rd. To Vine St. (South Side) 1,695 Lf, .32 Miles 4. Vine Street From 4th Street to 6th Street (West Side) 984 Lf, .19 Miles 5. Vine St. From Brentwood Dr. To Mason Av. (West Side) 933 Lf, .18 Miles 6. Brentwood Dr. From Berkshire Rd. To Derbyshire Rd. (South Side) 742 Lf, .14 Miles 7. Brentwood Dr. From Derbyshire Rd. To Nova Rd. (North Side) 2,947 Lf, .56 Miles 8. Derbyshire Rd. / 3rd St. Inter.(Incl. Crosswalk & Ada Ramp to Exist Sidewalk) 7 Lf the Improvements Include: Mobilization, Maintenance of Traffic, Erosion Control, Inlet Protection, Clearing and Grubbing, Excavation, Signing and Pavement Markings, Utility Adjustments, Drainage Improvements (Piping Ditches, Inlet Installation, Manhole Installation ), Concrete Sidewalk, Curb Installation, Detectable Warning Surfaces, Fence Installation and Relocation, Mailbox Installation, Sodding, Drainage Improvements, Concrete Sidewalk, Pedestrian Handrail, Rapid Reflective Flashing Beacon (Rrfb), Pavement Markings, and Sodding. All Pedestrian Improvements Shall Be Ada Compliant. No Right of Way Acquisition is Required. Coordination With the Votran Bus Service (25+ Votran Public Transit Stops Exist Within 1/2 Mile of the Project Location), Daytona Beach International Airport (Within 5 Miles) and Utility Companies is Required as Needed. There is No Local Preference for This Rfp. Minimum Qualifications: Proposers Must Be Fdot Prequalified in Construction Engineering Inspection for Roadway (10.1) and Construction Materials Inspection (10.3). Prime Consultants Must Hold the 10.1 Prequalification, the Prime or Its Sub Consultant May Satisfy the Prequalification Requirement for 10.3. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals or Parts Thereof, or to Accept the Proposal(S) or Parts Thereof, When Considered by It to Be in the Best Interest of the City. Any Proposal Received After the Time and Date Specified Will Not Be Considered. No Proposer May Withdraw Their Proposal for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Date of the Opening of Proposals. This Time Period is Reserved for the Purpose of Reviewing Proposals and Investigating the Qualifications of the Proposers. The Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
