Site work for a water / sewer project in Macclenny, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project involves rehabilitation of a portion of the City of Macclenny's wastewater collection system. Work includes the following: removal of approximately 6,300 LF of 4" through 10" PVC, VCP, and ACP gravity sewer pipe; grouting of approximately 1,800 LF of 6" and 8" gravity sewer pipe; removing 50 existing brick and precast manholes; installing approximately 7,300 LF of 8" and 10" PVC gravity sewer; 60 new precast manholes; removal and replacement of 150 sanitary sewer services totaling 3,800 LF of pipe; 24,200 LF of CIPP ranging from 6" to 15" diameter; pipe bursting 330 LF of 6" and 8" pipe; chain cutting 6,250 LF of 6" to 15" gravity sewer; 1,700 LF of chemical root treatment; rehabilitating approximately 125 manholes including lining and new frames and covers; cleaning and televising approximately 2,300 LF of existing gravity sewer pipe; and associated restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The City of Macclenny, Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. ***This project has been awarded to Gulf Coast Underground, LLC in the amount of $3,402,162.22.**
