Site work for a civil project in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
**As of July 20, 2020, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** The Town of East Longmeadow invites sealed Bids for the proposed Porter Road over South Branch Mill River, E-03-004 (5LL) Bridge Rehabilitation Project. The work consists of patching concrete spalls in the culvert, installing catch basins, regrading Porter Road 100-feet on either side of the culvert, and installing new guardrails. The work shall be substantially complete by September 30, 2020. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Attention is called to minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the Provisions of General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections, 26 to 27D, inclusive. All bidders shall furnish with their bid a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond or certified /cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, made payable to the Town of East Longmeadow. The Town of East Long -meadow reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bidding if it is in the public interest to do so.
