Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City Lake and Oak Hollow Dams concrete spillways are in need of minor concrete maintenance work. The work entails setting up appropriate control of water for each area of repair, cleaning the repair areas, and installing repair measures. Access to some areas will require additional safety measures as they might be near water, elevated from the ground, or in a confined space. Work of the Project includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to install the repairs as shown on the Drawings. A pre-bid conference will not be held due to Coronavirus restrictions so please submit questions by the question deadline date of Tuesday, May 5, 2020 by 3:00 PM per "Instructions to Bidders". General contractors are notified that "An Act to regulate the Practice of General Contractors", Section 87-1 through 15, ratified by the General Assembly of North Carolina, on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
