The City of Bowie, Maryland requesting sealed proposals for miscellaneous repairs and painting of a 3MG water reservoir located at 3703 Media Lane, Bowie, Maryland. The work shall be consistent with the scope of services contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP). All services performed must strictly conform to the bid documents. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by the bidder or an investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the City that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract; and further reserves the right to reduce or modify the scope of the Project in order to meet funding limits and the City's schedule. By submission of a proposal, the bidder represents that it has the ability to comply with all requirements contained in the bid documents. Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the site. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, May 27, 2020 to all those who request the RFP. The subject line of the email must read PROPOSAL: PAINTING AND MISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS - MEDIA LANE TANK. Bids will be public opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting. A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all plan holders. All blanks on each and every form provided by the City in connection with this Request for Proposals must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form. All proposals must be signed in ink by the bidder, with signature in full. When a firm is a bidder, the agent who signs the firm name shall, in addition, state the names and addresses of the individuals composing the firm. Performance and payment bonds will not be required. Neither the City nor its representatives shall be liable for any expenses incurred in connection with the preparation of a response to this RFP.
