Project no: 19435 The Owner will receive bids for the removal and replacement of the existing fueling station at the City of Waukegan Public Works Facility. The Work will include: Demolition, excavation, sitework, asphalt and concrete paving, pavement striping, fuel island, canopy, fuel pump and all associated equipment, drywall, acoustic, doors & frames, electrical, low voltage and security systems. A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. A sealed envelope addressed with the name of the Bidder, Owner, name and project number of the Contract, and the date and time of the Bid. A formal Bid Tabulation will be posted to electronically no later than Tuesday, May 26, 2020 by the close of business. Bidders are encouraged to check telectronically for this posting. Bids will be a single contract, stipulated sum. The Work is anticipated to commence on Monday, July 6, 2020, and be performed such that the Project will be Substantially Complete as indicated in the Document 00 31 13 - Preliminary Schedule. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Owner.
