Contractor Awarded Address: Chicago, IL USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $13320510.00 The general scope of the requirements will be furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and transproation and performing all rquired work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the renovation of Building 223 located at Fort Riley, Kansas. The scope of the Design and Construciton project is for whole building renovation of historic barracks with associated historic restoration for certain exterior aspects of the building. The requirement is Unrestricted/Full and Open comopetitive acquistion; both small and large businesses are eligible to respond. This solicitation will use a 2 Phase Design-Build procurement methodology as described in FAR PART 36.3 and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price award. NAICS code: 236220 (Size Standard: $39.5M). In accordance with FAR FART 36.204 and DRARS 236.204, the estimated magniture of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The general scope of the requirements will be furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for a whole building renovation of historic barracks with associated historic restoration for certain exterior aspects of the building. All systems will be replaced: mechanical; electrical; communications; security; fire and life safety. Architectural gut to revise layout to meet current barracks standards for E-1 thru E-5s. Replace windows to match historic look meeting current anti-terrorism/force protection standards. Repairs needed to exterior include limestone masonry patching/repairs, repointing, concrete spall repairs, and similar. Some foundation waterproofing and repair of grading/storm drain on north side of building.The general scope of the requirements will be furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for a whole building renovation of historic barracks with associated historic restoration for certain exterior aspects of the building. All systems will be replaced: mechanical; electrical; communications; security; fire and life safety. Architectural gut to revise layout to meet current barracks standards for E-1 thru E-5s. Replace windows to match historic look meeting current anti-terrorism/force protection standards. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 730 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.
