Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Alton, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October 16,2020 the project was awarded to Bryant Paving but award amount , start and completion date was not confirmed. The Alton School District is seeking sealed bids for parking lot paving at the Alton Central School on Pine Street in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions listed below. Award of this bid is subject to the approval of the Alton School Board on or about May 30, 2020. Prospective bidders are advised to read this information over carefully prior to submitting a bid. Score of the Work: Field measure and project site visit. Parking lot = 6684 Sq. Ft. Remove and dispose of existing asphalt. Add a 3" crushed stone base. Regrade and vibrate compact project area. Pitch all areas around catch basins at a lower slope for proper drainage. Concrete slabs containing lids for underground storage tanks must not be altered. Spread 2.5" of asphalt with a compacted measurement of 2". Restripe existing yellow walkway from handicap ramp to front of the building walkway. White line 9 parking spots at the direction of the Buildings & Grounds Director. The Alton School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive any formalities as may be deemed in the best interest of the District. The School Board also reserves the right to reject any bid that, in their judgement, does not meet the requirements of these specifications or the needs of the Alton School District.
