Renovation of existing E & F Dorm buildings on Winfield Correctional Facility grounds, construction of new Guardhouse, construction of new Dining Hall, selective demolition of existing connecting corridor, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Bonds are to cover all claims discovered during construction or prior to the end of the warranty period. A Public Works Bond as required by K.S.A. 60-1111 shall be furnished to the Owner by the Contractor in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and shall be filed with the Clerk of the District Court in the county where the Project is being constructed. A Public Works Bond is not required for projects with a contract price below $100,000.
