This is a historical Stone Double Arch Bridge on Peeptoad Road in Dayville. The Bridge was built in or about 1850. This bridge was rated as poor in the inspection performed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT) in 2012. Partial funding to design and rebuild the bridge is currently available through either the Local State or Federal Bridge Programs. As of August 17, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Killing's FY 2024 - FY 2028 Capital Improvement Plan and funding is allotted for FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
