Renovation of a multi-residential development in Willimantic, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
For Hevrin Terrace Revitalization Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the "Revitalization of Hevrin Terrace", Emerald Ave and Keating Street, Willimantic, CT. We strongly encourage bidders to minimize those attending the site visit to only those critical in reviewing the existing conditions. Face mask will be required. This project includes full envelope upgrades for 45 duplexes (90 apartments) and bathroom replacements. Envelope upgrades include but not are not limited to new entry doors, new windows, new insulation, and new siding. Bathroom replacements will be full replacement including new fixtures, flooring, and waste pipe. Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of prevailing wages, and compliance with certain local and state requirements. A satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to "Willimantic Housing Authority" and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications. All bonds must be from sureties listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570. Bids, to receive consideration, must be in the hands of the authorized representative no later than the day and hour mentioned above. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the above Housing Authority. The Town of Willimantic and The Willimantic Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality, or; to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Housing Corporation
