Phase 1 of the Tanner Street Realignment Project. A design consultant completed survey and 75% PS&E documents for Phases 1 and 2 prior to being dismissed from the project. The City is able to provide these documents and the survey in ACAD format. The City requires completion of these documents for both phases of the project along with on-site Residential Engineer and Construction Administration services for Phase 1 of the project. As noted in RFP 20-72, Phase 1 will complete the transition of an existing 3-way intersection at the Meadow Brook Center (Target) Plaza on Plain Street to a 4-way intersection between Plain Street and New Tanner Street, will construct approximately 300 feet of the anticipated 1100 feet of new roadway, and end at a new 3-way intersection with Montreal Street, which will be extended approximately 50 feet. Phase 2, which will be a future construction project, 800+/- feet of horizontal and vertical alignment for the completion of new Tanner Street, intersection design at W. London Street and reconnection to old Tanner Street; utility connections; drainage system connections to existing system; sanitary sewer relocation and connection to existing system. As of September 8, 2022, the design firm have been selected.
