Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of April 11, 2023 the project is in design. There is no information on bidding or construction start. Project is included City of Rock Hill FY 2023-2027 CIP *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The City plans to build a pedestrian bridge over Dave Lyle Boulevard to connect Old Town Rock Hill to University Center and Winthrop University. The bridge is still in the design phase but will likely connect The Engage parking deck to The Links parking deck. The pedestrian bridge will be funded through tax increment financing bonds and paid back through City, County and School district incremental tax revenues.
