Renovation of a municipal facility in Etobicoke, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
*Award amount was not released for publication. *Construction is complete. This project is to remediate mould contaminated building materials in three buildings (Admin Building B12353, Etobicoke Humber School Building B19418 and Clinical Building B12359) at 51 Panorama Court, Etobicoke, Ontario. This project will consist of mould remediation of all mould impacted building materials as stated in the findings of Designated Substances Survey Report and will also include precautionary measures for other designated susbstances and hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead and slica. Re-instatement of building materials will not be required unless deemed a health and safety risk to building occupants. All mechanical insulation which are to be remediated/abated as part of this project will also be required to be re-insulated. Hazardous Materials specifications for hazardous materials are prepared for asbestos, mould, lead and silica. Mehanical systems insulation and identification specification are included and detailed for each applicable area in the Appendix E - Insulation scope of work.
