Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to accept any part of a bid or the one deemed best for the Town. The project includes a proposed bridge rehabilitation consisting of removing the existing (failed) steel arch and replacing it in kind, while retaining the existing concrete footings. Scour protection will also be provided within Meadow Brook. The project also provides guardrail and handrail improvements on the north side of Dean Street, granite curbs on both sides of the road, reconstructed sidewalks, and a resurfaced roadway. Generally, the proposed roadway features and dimensions will closely match existing conditions The work also includes excavation, granite curbing, drainage structures & pipe, landscaping, and other incidental work.
